Feline Felons Cat Café Cat Lounge Attendant:
Position Summary:
Please help us save cats! You love talking about cats and you love the cats you talk about! The Cat Lounge Attendant oversees the cat room. You are our cat’s Ambassador, and you will help keep our cats happy! You will learn to speak the cat language to help our customers understand them. We are looking for energetic cat-loving people to provide memorable experiences for our guests, care for a large colony of cats, and play matchmaker so our cats find their fur-ever home.
Cat Lounge Responsibilities
General care and maintenance of cats
· Care for cats includes general care of animals, waste removal, feeding, and cleaning the cat areas.
· Preparation of the cat's daily meals and water bowls (AM/PM)
· Daily Document cat health and administering meds, if necessary
Care and Maintenance of lounge areas.
· Keep cat condos clean and presentable, including refreshing litter pans. -*
· Keeping the Cat Lounge and cat privacy room clean and tidy
· Continuous cleaning throughout the day of all public and cat areas of the café.

· Do Laundry and dishes to maintain a healthy environment for cats, staff, and customers.
Animal Handling Skills
· Confidently be able to get cats into carriers.
· Professional understanding of cat behavior and cat-handling practices
Animal Behavior Knowledge
· Know each resident's personality.
· Must love cats - You recognize each cat and its individual personality, likes, and dislikes.
· Previous experience caring for multiple cats (volunteering, fostering, owning a cat, etc.)
Carry out physical expectations of the job including lifting 50 pounds.
· Stand for extended periods of time.
Correctly process adoptions.
· Engaging with customers about the different cats, cat behavior, and cat handling to help facilitate positive interactions and adoptions.
· Processing applications and handling cat adoptions for our shelter partners
· Provide customers with information and answer questions about cat cafes and FFCC specifically.
Manage the daily reservations.
· Manage the daily reservations to the Cat Lounge and event areas.
· Technologically savvy - Should be comfortable learning to use all FFCC software and apps.
Positive and thoughtful interactions with customers.
· Greeting customers and familiarizing them with the rules of the Cat Lounge and questions about the cat café.
· Provide thoughtful and forward-thinking advice for customers regarding potential supplies needed for their new cat.
· Excellent Customer Service and communication skills
Attention to detail in both Cat Lounge & boutique.
· Maintain a neat, organized, and shoppable cat boutique.
· Remerchandise cat boutique products to generate interest and display products invitingly.
· Manage stock levels on the sales floor and conduct weekly inventory counts.
· Detail-oriented - You notice the little things and act on them.
Remain calm in a demanding environment.
· Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and positive manner.
· Initiative-taking - Can spot negative cat or human interactions and can work to defuse them.
Attendance & Timeliness
· Begin each shift no more than 5 minutes after start time.
· Work scheduled shifts and volunteer for shifts that need coverage.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
