Job Description
As a member of the Adventure Team, the Scuba Dive MasterTechnician is an essential part to our overall operations. Not only are yourskills tested, your knowledge of the history and dive topography of Kohanaiki bewill be tried and true.
Dive Master Technicians are called upon for Kohanaiki ShoreDives and Kohanaiki Boat Dives. While on shore dives, you will be responsible fortraversing members/guest to and from the shore. Exploring the surrounding areaas well as sharing knowledge about the underwater scene here at Kohanaiki.Shore dives are also a great opportunity to promote exploring what the Konacoast has to offer using our 39ft YellowFin Boat named Kaikea (White Water).While diving from Kaikea, you will be taking on additional responsibilities ofbeing the 1st Mate/Deckhand (refer to 1st Mate JD).
Yourresponsibilities as a Dive Master Technician are as listed below but notlimited to:
Responsible for personal annual certification updates.

• Weekly check of all SCUBA related equipment (BCD, Regulator, Mask, Fins etc.).
• Reference check of all divers of K-Dive activities.
• Shift setup, breakdown and cleaning of all related equipment (BCD, Regulator, Mask, Fins etc.).
• Cross reference and regular updates with all other Kohanaiki Dive Technicians.
• Peak season program establishment (Discover Scuba Program)
• Keep a clear line of communication with Adventure Teams Leadership Team (IK, PC, BP.)

Qualifications:

• Currently Holds a PADI or NAUI; Dive Master or Instructor Certification
• Currently Holds Basic First Aid, AED & CPR Certification
• Able to lift and hold up to 70lb
• Knowledge of the underwater scene of Kohanaiki
• Knowledge of boat and sea operations
