Perform non-invasive neurodiagnostic testing from neonate to geriatric population. Determine the extern/mode of testing which yields the highest quality and quantity of recording data for doctor’s interpretation. This is to include but not limited to EEG’s and 24 hour/long-term video monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Thorough understanding of equipment operation, safety and limitation as it relates to all equipment used in the scope of neurodiagnostics. Recognize and implement corrective action when necessary. Initiate service calls as necessary.
- Ability to assess medical history and clinical findings specific to the modality studied.
- Communication: Respect confidentiality
- Education: Stay current with ASET journals, continue CEU when available and attend lectures provided by our own Educational Medical Staff.
Qualifications
Required
- Completion of an accredited EEG program or registration by the American Medical Association American Board of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist required.
- 1 or more years of recording experience preferred.
