SalaryWeCare Pharmacy, a compounding pharmacy and wellness center in Warrenton, VA, is currently seeking a hard-working, energetic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused employee to join our dynamic team!
The ideal candidate must have exceptional customer service and organizational skills, keen attention to detail, able to work collaboratively with other team members and the ability/flexibility to perform customer service and logistics roles in a fast-paced environment. Retail and/or pharmacy experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Shipping Clerk
- Methodically assembles the day's outgoing medication shipments, including patient counseling materials, medication(s), devices, and packing materials prior to pickup time
- Carefully processes payment and shipping orders using pharmacy's point-of-sale system
- Monitors inventory level of all shipping supplies (coolers, ice packs, envelopes, labels, etc.)
Cashier/Customer Service
- Enthusiastically greets patients as they enter the pharmacy
- Consistently provides excellent customer service throughout the visit, including ringing up all sales transactions
- Consistently monitors front-end inventory levels, assists with ordering, and pulls expired merchandise
- Confidently refers patient medication questions to the pharmacist on duty
- Willingly performs other duties as requested
Other duties may include:
- Ordering, receipt, and check in of inventory including chemicals, OTC products, and shipping supplies
- Logging/packing/destruction of expired products and chemicals
Required Education, Licensure, and Certification:
- High school diploma/GED
- Driver's license
Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and shipping (UPS & FedEx) terms
