We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. As a Host/Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Take reservations and manage the waitlist
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries
- Provide accurate wait times and manage seating arrangements
- Assist servers with table set-up and clean-up
- Process guest payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of the host/host station and lobby area
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns or complaints effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional demeanor
