What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for dedicated and charismatic individuals to join the 2Js cashiering team. We do not need you have cashiering experience. We can train that. Personality is most important to us! That means treating others BETTER than you would treat yourself as well as being considerate/anticipating the needs of others. This must extend from customers to the work that you do to how you treat your coworkers.
Responsibilities of Cashier:
- Providing a positive customer experience with friendly and courteous service
- Registering sales on a cash register and collecting payment
- Resolving customer issues and answers questions
- Balancing cash drawer
- Maintaining checkout operations
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
- Bagging groceries appropriately
Required Characteristics:
- Enjoy working with people
- Have an acute attention to detail
- Exhibit a polite and considerate demeanor
- Balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Walk up and down stairs
- Lift/Carry items weighing up to up to 50 LBS
- Execute basic math skills
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
