Ace Hardware of Owensboro is seeking a Part-Time Cashier to provide helpful customer service, process sales quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Process customer returns and exchanges
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations
- Promote and upsell products and services to customers
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and promotions
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math purposes
- Able to walk/stand constantly
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
