Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
- Ensure food safety and proper handling procedures are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding food preparation, sanitation, and safety
Skills:
- Culinary skills: Ability to prepare and cook a variety of food items with precision and attention to detail
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills to provide friendly and efficient service to customers
- Sales: Ability to promote products, upsell, and maximize sales opportunities
- Kitchen experience: Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and basic cooking techniques
- Time management: Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Retail math: Basic math skills for cash handling, calculating discounts, and making change accurately
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards
- Food preparation: Experience in prepping ingredients, measuring quantities, and following recipes
- Aloha POS: Proficiency in using the Aloha POS system for order processing and payment transactions
- Basic math: Ability to perform simple calculations for portioning ingredients or calculating totals
