Cashier - Wasatch Airport Pub

Objective
This position is responsible for maintaining friendly and enthusiastic interactions with customers and ensures the customer's experience is of the highest quality. This position processes customer to go orders, and kiosk sales. The Cashier uses salesmanship skills in answering customer questions and makes recommendations in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Responsibilities

• Takes pride in the kiosk and to go counters by keeping them clean and organized.
• Answers the restaurant phone within 3 rings, offers assistance and fields questions.
• Stocks and maintains organization of to-go fridge.
• Answers customer's inquiries regarding the food and/or beverage products.
• Coffee barista and handles/prepares all customer to go orders.
• Itemizes and totals takeout transaction on cash register and receives payment.
• Utilizes accurate cashiering skills.
• Rotates and stocks all items on to-go and retail shelves and ensures that the display cases are full, neat, and orderly.
• Performs closing procedures of cash drawer at end of shift and verifies checkout with the Manager on Duty.
• Following company's policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates teamwork while working respectfully with all team members.
• Protects consumer health with strict adherence to all sanitary and safe food handling mandates and practices.
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

• Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees.
• Ability to work all days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Skill in strong organization and multi-tasking responsibilities and remains calm under pressure.

Physical & Mental Requirements
Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move 10-25 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
