Cash Posting Specialist

KVC is seeking to hire a Cash Posting Specialist!!!The Cash Posting Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely posting of receivables and payments from KVC vendors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Process and post daily cash receipts accurately and promptly.
• Match payments received to corresponding invoices and ensure proper allocation.
• Reconcile discrepancies between billed and received amounts.
• Investigate and resolve variances, working closely with other departments as needed.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial records by verifying and validating payment information.
• Assist with bank reconciliation process and ensure daily posting ties to bank accounts.
• Serve as backup to corporate receptionist when required

EDUCATION

• An associate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

EXPERIENCE

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

• A proactive approach to communication, analysis and problem solving.
• High acumen around critical thinking and organization.
• Experience with Microsoft Navision

Licensure/Certification:

• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
