Cash Posting Clerk - Medical

Cash Posting Representative – Physician Billing to work onsite Monday – Friday. 

Responsibilities

·        Process incoming payment received through lock boxes and EFT’s in a timely manner

·        Identify remittance and posting payments to the correct account by invoice number

·        Post payments/adjustments from collections and other billing agencies

·        Research payments/denials to ensure posting to the correct patient account

·        Correct/edit batches and or electronic remittance files as assigned

·        Review and resolve credit balances

·        Distinguish unidentified payments and post the payments to designated cash accounts

·        Review and resolve credit balances

·        Set up refunds

·        Process and deposit live checks for daily bank deposits

Qualification:

·        High School Diploma or Equivalent

·        Knowledge of EPIC, preferred

·        2 years of Cash Postings

·        Billing and collection knowledge a plus
