Cash Operations Supervisor

Lima One Capital is searching for a Cash Operations Supervisor to join the Servicing division of the company. The Cash Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing all Cash Operations activities and for delivering excellent client experience. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan and manage all Cash Operations activities and staff. The goal is to ensure the team delivers their work timely and accurately. The Cash Operations Supervisor must be able to handle detailed and complex reporting and reconciling requirements and work with a high level of accuracy, independence, and analytical prowess. Additionally, the Supervisor must be able to organize and deliver against tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate payment postings, reversals, and reapplications.
• Ensures exception items are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
• Ensure timely generation of accurate payoff letters.
• Act as liaison for investor or partner payoff approvals.
• Meet or exceed all processing and reporting deadlines and timeframes and work with a sense of urgency to complete tasks.
• Balancing and reconciliation. Balancing and reconciliation include, but are not limited to, custodial bank accounts, month end collection, weekly payoff…etc.
• Work closely with Accounting to clear outstanding items timely.
• Provide a high level of service to borrowers and various stakeholders through correspondence and communications.
• Increase utilization and efficiency of loan servicing software for processing and reporting requirements.
• Streamline and automate current reports and templates. Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements.
• Communicate any trends and / or problems with recommended solutions to management.
• Assist with internal or external audit requests.
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of department documentation; including, but not limited to, policies and procedures and KPIs.
• Train existing and new teammates.
• Assume other duties/projects as they arise and be responsive to other departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience preferred
• 5+ years of banking or loan servicing experience preferred
• Knowledge of Cash Operations required
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Available to work over-time one to three days per month
• Ability to train, to manage, and to lead junior analysts
