SalaryJRG FUNDING is a rapidly growing finance company that provides working capital to small and medium sized businesses throughout the US in the form of Merchant Cash Advances. We are looking for an enterprising, articulate, well-qualified individual for the position of underwriter. This position would work out of our downtown NY financial district office. If you are a highly motivated, ambitious, and experienced underwriter, there are very few platforms in the Cash Advance industry where you can maximize your personal compensation like you can under our model. Please note we are looking for someone with AT LEAST 1 year of underwriting experience in the MCA industry.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Analyzing data from prospective merchant’s; applications, credit reports, business bank & credit card statements, business financials, P&L, Balance Sheets, Tax Returns, and other related financial and diligence information
- Issuing pre-approvals and terms to prospective clients
- Conduct preliminary Merchant interviews with prospect merchants
- Work closely with the Senior Management on portfolio management
- Interact with internal sales force and external funding partners
- Manage portfolio of active JRG clients and prospects – new and renewal

Recommended education: Bachelor's degree Preference for those who have a degree in Finance, Accounting, or other financial related field
1+ years of experience working for a financial services firm, preferably in the Cash Advance or MCA space
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
