We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team as a Bank Case Processor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support in investigating, managing, and resolving cases involving unauthorized, disputed, or erroneous account activity. The primary focus may include credit, debit, prepaid card, digital, ACH, or checking transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of banking operations, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Case Support: Provide comprehensive support in processing and managing cases related to unauthorized, disputed, or erroneous account activity
  • Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into reported cases, gathering relevant information, and analyzing transactional data to determine root causes and potential resolutions.
  • Disposition: Determine appropriate actions and resolutions for each case based on investigation findings, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Transaction Analysis: Review and analyze prepaid card, transactions to identify patterns, trends, and potential instances of fraud or error.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including but not limited to Regulation E, Regulation Z, and the Electronic Fund Transfer Act (EFTA), throughout the case handling process.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Typically at least one year of related work experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Basic knowledge of products, services, terminology, policies, procedures, and systems related to assigned area, as well as applicable laws and regulatory requirements
  • Proven commitment to high quality customer service
  • Good time management skills to maximize the customers that can be assisted while maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Ability to work with well with customers and discern and communicate complex details related to claims or disputes
  • Competent in leveraging standard technology, tools, and applications used within the industry role
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with proficient research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to perform assigned work in a deadline sensitive environment
  • Knowledge of federal regulations governing consumer banking, including Regulation E, Regulation Z, and the Electronic Fund Transfer Act (EFTA).

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week In The Jacksonville, FL or Minn, MN office and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

Schedule is M-F 8:30am-5pm
