In this capacity, you will write standards-compliant xhtml, css, and unobtrusive javascript, and integrate your code using JSP in a Java environment. You will work with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create enhanced user experiences through your expertise in client-side development. You will work on various projects ranging from templates to conceptual prototypes to production-level components. The environment is fast-paced with numerous ITERATIVE development cycles. Lead roles and hands-on experience working on large web applications. Applicants must include a link to their online portfolio or provide links to previous work. Qualifications:

REQUIRED SKILLS: - at least 6+ years of work experience in general web application development, with 3+ years with front-end development strong command of semantic markup and table free layouts - advanced CSS (strong grasp of floats, positioning, box model, image sprites, css hacks, browser compatibility) - advanced Javascript (including DOM, object-oriented Javascript, Ajax, JSON) - excellent grasp of Web Standards and why we should develop for them Preferred Skills (bonus if you have these): - Experience with JSP/JSTL, PHP (Drupal experience a plus) - advanced, event-driven Javascript (subscribers, listeners, event bubbling, etc.) - jQuery - experience with high performance web page optimization techniques (edge serving, minimize http connections, etc.) - Familiarity with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Flash) - Strong understanding of client/server code integration, including best practices in what functionality should run where You should also: - be able to work with minimal supervision and with remote co-workers - be passionate for building world-class products - have a strong sense of commitment and responsibility for your work - have excellent communication and time management skills - have a friendly and positive attitude
