CART ATTENDANT JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Concept: The Cart Attendant is one of the most visible Team Members at the facility. This position is tasked with potentially being one of the first to contact members and guests. Due to the nature of the position, the Cart Attendant must be pleasant, friendly, and outgoing.
This position is supervised by and coordinates with: Head Golf Professional, Assistant Golf Professional, Pro Shop Team, and Food & Beverage Team
Compensation and benefits:
- Hourly wage: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour depending on experience

Specific Responsibilities - include but are not limited to:
- Fueling, cleaning and preparing the golf car fleet before, during, and after tournaments, leagues, and daily play.
- Daily driving range maintenance which includes picking the range, washing the balls clearing the range of empty baskets/bags, and removal of any trash or debris
- Ensure that all work areas including any cart corals, range sheds, and/or storage areas are organized and clean always.
- MUST be on-time for shifts and ready to work 5 minutes prior to the start of a shift.
- Candidates must be willing to work weeknights and weekends on a regular basis. Some holidays may be required as well.
- Be able to provide a welcoming “first contact” with each customer or groups of customers and ensure they have an enjoyable experience.
- Communicate with the golf shop team on a regular basis.
- Assist in keeping areas around the clubhouse clean, and call attention to golf shop team of any maintenance issues needing addressing.
- Be prepared for inclement weather (air horn, rain gear, etc.) and understand inclement weather procedures
- Assist other outside staff as needed.
- This position may perform additional duties as directed by the Head Golf Professional, Assistant Golf Professional, or Pro Shop team.
