Carrier Sales Representative Description
Our client, in the transportation logistics industry, is looking for a Carrier Sales Representative to add to their team in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with vendors across the country, while sourcing and procuring carrier services to move freight for customers, ensuring timely pickup and delivery. If you have freight/truck brokerage experience with a competitive, positive and proactive mindset, this is a great opportunity for you. Carrier Sales Representative Responsibilities
• Negotiate rates with carriers to maximize profit
• Ensure on-time performance of carriers meets/exceeds 95%
• Track and trace all loads tender to carriers from pick up to final delivery
• Secure all required documentation required by customers and the business
• Update systems throughout the life cycle of the load
• Meet and exceed financial objectives as well as exceed service expectations
Carrier Sales Representative Qualifications
• 1 + years of freight/truck brokerage experience required
• Ability to develop a creative approach to overcoming obstacles is required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task required
• Strong negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills required
• TMS experience required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus
