Carpenter/Iron Worker

We are looking for an experienced carpenter and/or metal building erector to join our building crew. The ideal candidate will have a background in wood-frame buildings and/or metal buildings, be able to complete projects with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to read blueprints, use power tools, and follow safety protocols while working on a variety of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to expand their skillset and join a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in framing wood buildings and pole barns.
• Assist in erecting metal buildings.
• Place doors and windows per drawings and specs.
• Know how to read a tape measure.
• Know how to use a level and speed square.
• Operate power tools.
• Give attention to detail to make sure all aspects of the building are square and level.
• Clean up work area after completion of job.
• Work well in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
