Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION:NONE

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:Must have three years of carpentry experience. One year of required experience must be as a finish carpenter.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:Vocational or technical school training in carpentry or a related field will substitute for the general carpentry experience on a year-for-year basis.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.):NONE

Working Conditions

May risk electric shocks, cuts or other injuries associated with the use of power and/ormanually operated tools.

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
