Companion caregiver for a female client located in Cumberland, VA. She does not need ADL support. We will help her with light-housework, cooking, med reminders, and helping walk her golden retriever on nice days.
Compensation & Benefits
- The compensation for this position is $23/hr,
- 2-hr split shifts on Mondays and Fridays form 9am-11am and 3pm-5pm
- SIMPLE IRA with company match
Responsibilities
- light housework
- laundry
- meal prep
- walk the dog with her (Golden Retriever)
- Provide companionship and socialization
Requirements
- No CNA and/or PCA certification required
- 1+ years of professional experience working in a healthcare setting
- Must have the ability to quickly and effectively assess the needs of the elderly population
- Ability to easily lift and transfer clients
