Caregiver/Cna

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care

Skills:
- Strong drive and passion for providing quality care to patients
- Proficiency in medication administration and adherence to proper dosage protocols
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or other special needs populations
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities and the unique needs of elderly residents
- Previous caregiving experience, such as in childcare or social work, is a plus
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Understanding of the specific challenges and requirements of working in a nursing home setting
