Visiting Angels is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely, with dignity and independently in their homes.

We are looking for strong, experienced, independent and compassionate Caregivers for our wonderful clients from Lampasas to Killeen, Temple and MORE!

FLEXIBILITY- We have morning, afternoon and evening opportunities- Short (1-4 hours) & Long (6-12 hours)- Weekdays AND/OR Weekends! YOU tell us which shifts you want to work based on what we have available- Pick up as many clients as you would like to suit YOUR lifestyle! Perfect for students, those who have weekend availability, who are looking for extra income and who want a truly rewarding career!

Caregiver Angel job duties include but are not limited to:

• Hygiene and grooming assistance (bathing, dressing, incontinence care, etc.)
• Medication reminders
• Monitoring/safety supervision
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry, errands and shopping
• Ambulation/mobility assistance, including lifting upwards of 50lbs
• Supportive companionship
• Respond quickly in case of an emergency
• Transportation to and from appointments

Requirements:

• A great attitude, helpful and ready for anything
• Ability to take direction, follow rules and be proactive
• Good time management skills
• High integrity and strong ethics
• MUST have over 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience with the elderly
• Be over 18 years old
• Successful completion of a Criminal History check
• Professional references
• Valid Driver’s License/clean driving record/proof of insurance
