Duties:
- The Scheduling Manager (SCM) is a key member of our staffing team. The primary responsibility is ensuring the smooth ongoing scheduling/managing the Caregivers/Client schedule. The SCM will support human resources administration for all caregivers working form them.
-The Scheduling Manager will have constant contact with HCA Caregivers, current and perspective clients and visitors to the office.
-Must have a pleasant and engaging personality and be able to quickly create and maintain positive relationships with many people.
-Must be able to communicate clearly and remain calm in challenging situations.
-Must be professional in knowledge, action and appearance - always reflecting the desire image of Home Care Assistance.
-Must be able to think clearly and quickly to implement solutions to problems as they arise .
Job Responsibilities:
-Determine with Recruiter Manager as necessary, the appropriate Caregiver(s) for each client.
-Responsible for the onboarding, training, scheduling and performance evaluation of caregivers staff.
-Assist with weekly Caregiver Orientation and training.
-Coordinate and communicate all Caregivers assignment to client and confirm to ensure proper coverage.
-Develop and distribute a preliminary monthly schedule for all existing clients by the 15th of the preceding month.
-Finalize and community to Caregivers their monthly schedule by the 20th of the preceding month.
-Manage short notice schedule change (call-offs) process to ensure no client are without required care and that changes are communicated to the client/Family member.
-Ensure all hours, bill rates and pay rate for each shift are accurate and approved dally.
Caregiver HR Administration
-Support maintenance of personnel files and other required records for Caregivers
-Approve or deny all requests by caregivers for time off within 5 days.
-Record all Caregiver training/shifts in management system.
Miscellaneous
-Open and close the HCA office as needed.
-Fill in as a Caregiver in emergency situations.
-Assist in weekly office clean-up
-Other reasonable assignments as needed.
Job Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree
-Previous experience in a complex scheduling environment is a plus.
-Experience in Customer Service
-Strong computer skills
-Ability to work under pressure and mange multiple demands in a timely fashion.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $16.85 - $19.25 per hour
