Family is looking for a domestic service worker to provide companionship services for an elderly woman in her home to assist with daily living activities. Duties would include assistance with grooming and hygiene, following a prescribed healthcare plan, providing mobility and transportation, light meal preparation and clean-up. Individual should also be compassionate, able to provide emotional support and foster companionship through activities and conversation.
Applicant qualities should include being patient, understanding and empathetic towards the challenges faced by the elderly; must be punctual, trustworthy and efficient; must be able to follow and implement healthcare plan instructions; must be able to communicate clearly with family members and other caregiving team members.
Requirements
- Be a US Citizen or have appropriate documentation to work in the US
- Fluent in English language
- Have a valid US Driver’s License
- Pass a background investigation.
- Be able to physically help an elderly person in distress including lifting, bending, stretching.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.96 - $19.23 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
