Job Description
PCA Lead position is the first person that the client works with and provides outstanding care to clients and acts as an example to all PCAs. This position is available to put and place where needs arise with in the specified available times. This position must answer calls from staffing prior to their report time to accept shifts. This is a guaranteed position that will grant a full 40 hours per week in the available times that are determined. This position is the emergency placement when call offs happen. The PCA lead begins new cases and gets them started and directly assists the Care Coordination team with ensuring a pleasant experience and start to the case. This position is a Personal Care Attendant first with a sporadic schedule and office support second when there are no shifts that are needed to be covered. The duties for office will be assigned by management. THIS POSTION IS LATE AFTERNOON & NOC POSTION ONLY WITH OPEN AVALIABILITY MON-SUN GRANTING 40 HOURS.

- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping activities
- Medication reminders
- Provide companionship
- Assist with errands and shopping
- On-call schedule
- Starting new clients
- Training/Onboarding caregivers
- Quality assurance visits for both caregivers and clients
- Report all change in conditions to Care Manager
- Able to problem solve in various situations
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
- Ability to lead and educate others
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical
- Immediately accept call off shifts
- Start new cases representing the highest quality of customer service
- Send reports to Care Coordination department
- Report to office any day not scheduled with a client with in the availability determined
- Reliable Transportation
- Valid California Drivers License or ID Card
- Car insurance (If applicable)
- Satisfactory DMV record
- Home Care Aide Registered (with a PER ID#)
