We are seeking a CAREGIVER (INLAND EMPIRE-RANCHO CUCAMONGA, FONTANA, UPLAND, ETC) to join our team! You will assist in the daily care of elderly or disabled individuals.
Shifts: Part-Time, Per Diem, Weekends, On-call
Responsibilities:
Varies depending on each clients needs:
- Assist clients with daily living activities or instrumental activities of daily living
- Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
- Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
- Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
- Assist clients with homemaker services such as light housekeeping/laundry, organizing, changing client bedsheets, etc.
- Assist clients in medication reminders
- Assist clients with meal preparation and planning
- Transport clients to and from their medical appointments, social activities, church, etc.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Experience as a Caregiver for at least 6 months
- Must be Registered with the CDSS Home Care Aide Registry
- Must provide and passed LiveScan/fingerprint background
- Must provide Negative TB Test
- Experience in Personal Care or other related field
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Dementia/Alzheimer's clients
- Bilingual is a plus
