Responsibilities

• Client has short term memory loss. Likely due to some dementia. She has very poor hearing and wears a hearing device. .
• Client is mobile with a walker but must have a side assist.
• Client needs help showering .
• Client needs help toileting.
• Client should be encouraged to engage in activities though she is not always sociable.
• Client likes to play cards especially 500 Rummy.
• Aides must be friendly, pro-active, and understand dementia.

Requirements

• A Valid (NYS) HHA Certifications or PCA Certification
• A Physical within the past 9 months
• PPD within the past 9 months or chest x-ray within 5 years
• Proof of MMR Immunization
• Drug Screen
• Valid ID and Social Security Card
• Warmth, compassion, patience, trustworthiness, an upbeat and confident personality, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills

**If COVID-19 vaccinated, please provide a vaccination card**

Schedule:

• 12 Hours shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
