Requirements:

• Must have experience at least 1 year working as a home care provider.
• Meal preparation
• Helping with shower
• Assist with dressing, diaper changes, help with senior mobility issues, run errands, remind to take their medication, take them to Dr. appointments.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client's homes
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors

Responsibilities:

• Provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a home care setting
• Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• Engage in meaningful interactions and activities to promote socialization and personal growth
• Monitor and report any changes in the individual's physical or emotional well-being
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the individual

Skills:

• Childcare experience: Experience working with children, including providing supervision, engaging in activities, and ensuring their safety.
• Caregiving experience: Experience providing care and support to individuals with physical or developmental disabilities, including assisting with daily activities and promoting independence.
• Heavy lifting: Ability to lift heavy objects or individuals as required in a caregiving role.
• Working with people with developmental disabilities: Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities, understanding their unique needs and providing appropriate support.
• Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Drive: Possessing the motivation and dedication to provide high-quality care to individuals in need.
• Home care: Familiarity with providing care services in a home setting, including maintaining a safe environment and following established routines.
• Lift: Ability to safely lift and move objects or individuals as required in a caregiving role.
• Meal preparation: Proficiency in preparing nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
