We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team.
This position involves providing attentive care and supervision for our child while also assisting with the needs of senior grandparent. Responsibilities include engaging in age-appropriate activities with the child, assisting with meal times and bedtime routines, and providing support with daily tasks for the elderly grandparent such as meal preparation and medication reminders. It's a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of two generations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor child and senior's activities to ensure their safety at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote physical, social, and intellectual development
- Assist with personal care tasks such as feeding, diapering, and toileting
- Administer medication according to established protocols
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary
- Provide behavior management and intervention strategies when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting or similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Ability to lift and carry children as needed
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Experience in providing care for senior individuals
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
