Job Summary:
Senior Helpers - South OC is seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver for ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) at our Dana Point location in California. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about providing top-notch care to seniors and wants to make a positive impact in their lives. You will be responsible for assisting clients with various tasks that help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. We have both part-time and full-time clients available in the area of Dana Point and surrounding cities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and assist with feeding if needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, dishes, and tidying up
- Accompany clients to appointments and run errands as needed
- Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication management
- Monitor client's physical and mental wellbeing and report any concerns to supervisor
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care and progress
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Caregiver for seniors or individuals with disabilities
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus!
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly pay rate of $18 to $20, paid biweekly
