SalaryWe're seeking a paid caregiver (Direct Service Provider) for our daughter, 12. She is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder but is otherwise healthy, physically and mentally. This is a 1-on-1 position paid at $20/hr.
If you work in the care field—daycare, senior care—this is a great chance to work in a less-hectic environment with a single person and really make a difference in their lives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Showing care, compassion, and encouragement to a person with Special Needs.
-Supervision in the home and out in the community.
-Transportation to activities, special events, and appointments (mileage reimbursable).
-Promote healthy living through implementing plans for nutrition, exercise, and activities.
-Ensure the safety of the person at home and in the community.
Qualifications:
-High School diploma or GED is required. Valid NYS driver’s license and personal transportation is required.
-Ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgment and complete necessary documentation.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
