***IMMEDIATE NEED FOR CAREGIVERS/CNA IN THE NORTHEAST SIDE OF COLUMBIA (29229), OFF OF N. BRICKYARD RD. 24/7 CLIENT SHIFTS SPLIT INTO 3 SHIFTS. MONDAY-SUNDAY! WORK 40HRS/WK GUARANTEED; OVERTIME AVAILABLE IF MORE HOURS ARE NEEDED! We are looking to staff these shifts as soon as possible. Please submit your application or call our office with any questions.   • 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, Mon-Sun
  • 3:00 PM-11:00 PM, Mon-Sun
  • 11:00 PM-7:00 AM (Currently, only Friday and Saturday Overnights are available)

We consider several things when scheduling our team of Caregivers. Such as availability, location, and skill set. However, we go a step beyond the basics. We want our Caregivers to feel comfortable and confident when providing care to our patients. Discussing the patient's needs, their schedule and doing "meet and greets" beforehand allows us to set our Caregivers up for success from the beginning.

We need more compassionate and reliable Caregivers and CNAs to join our family! We currently have more open Full-Time and Part-Time hours than we have Caregivers. Apply now and allow us to work with you to find your ideal work schedule!

Open schedules are located in the surrounding Richland and Lexington counties. Cities such as Columbia (Southeast, Northeast), Irmo, West Columbia, Lexington, Cayce, Pelion, Swansea, Gaston, Hopkins, and Eastover.

Hours vary from morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight. Overtime hours available

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
  • Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.)
  • Plan and prepare meals
  • Assist with physical therapy exercises
  • Complete Client's shopping or accompanies them to do so successfully
  • Perform housekeeping duties
  • Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
  • Ability to pass a SLED background check and Pre-Employment Drug Screen and be willing to have a TB test or Chest X-ray completed
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 2-3 years)
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
  • Supportive and compassionate
  • Take pride in providing high-quality care
  • Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to Client)

  • Personal protective equipment provided or required
  • Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Shift Availability:

  • Day Shift (Preferred)

  • Overnight Shift (Preferred)
