The Caregiver will provide assistance to residents in a senior living community during the night shift. The Caregiver will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, assisting with daily living activities, and providing companionship.
Responsibilities:- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor residents for changes in health status and report any concerns to the appropriate staff member
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
- Administer medications, as directed by the healthcare team
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
- Document resident care activities and report any changes in condition to the appropriate staff member
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
