Salary/Position Classification

Purpose of Position

Guide students in their career development journey, including but not limited to resume writing, cover letter writing, interviewing, etc., assist with in-class and group presentations, and complete additional tasks as requested

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work one-on-one or in groups with current UND students and alumni to assist with career-related development.
  • Provide coverage for various campus/community events.
  • Assist staff and promote Career services at various campus/community events, such as the Grad Expo, Career Fairs, and Networking at Night
  • present at two Campus Organization meetings during the academic year
  • Assist students in alternate locations such as the Library Knowledge Commons or college locations.
  • Support the mission and vision of Career Services and the Student Academic Success & Career Engagement unit.
  • Support the mission and vision of the University of North Dakota
  • Provide front desk coverage when necessary.
  • Complete additional tasks as requested by the Experiential Learning staff or other staff members of Student Academic Success & Career Engagement - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be in good standing according to the University of North Dakota
  • Must be enrolled for the semester of employment.
  • Successful completion of a Standard Criminal History Background Check
