General Description
Provide office coverage and administrative support for the Career Development Center.
Essential Job Duties
1) Perform various clerical and office-related tasks.
2) Provide effective customer service by welcoming and assisting visitors.
3) Make appointments, answer questions, and offer relevant information.
4) Answer phones, direct calls, and take accurate phone messages.
5) Originate, process, organize, and file confidential documents.
6) Organize and inventory office supplies and other related materials.
7) Assist with departmental events and programs.
8) Help process informational and promotional materials by restocking literature racks, making photocopies, and assembling information packets.
9) Run errands and make deliveries across campus.
10) Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

2) Responsible, self-directed, and motivated.
3) Organized and detail oriented.
4) Ability to interact with visitors in a friendly, positive, and helpful way.
5) Dress and act appropriately for a professional setting.
6) Ability to use office equipment (computer, copier, printer, multi-line phone system) and applications (word processing, e-mail, internet).
7) Adhere to strict ethical and legal requirements concerning confidentiality and protecting information.
8) Previous clerical and office experience preferred.
