SalaryIn addition to gaining hand-on experience using engineering tools and shipboard inspections, you will attend training with senior engineers and technicians from across the team to help prepare you for college and your career.
- Review and update sketches in AutoCAD.
- Assist with review shipboard engineering changes.
- Assist with tracking discrepancies and prepare packages for system and compartment inspections.
Qualifications:
- Be a student in good standing with the Pascagoula Career Academy program entering your senior year.
- Receive teacher recommendation to be a participant.
- Be interested in pursuing engineering or other technical degree at the college level.
- Have knowledge of AutoCAD program.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
