Care Partner

Duties:
- Provide direct support and care to individuals in a home care setting
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and document changes in clients' physical and mental health
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Drive clients to appointments, outings, and social activities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Follow established care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to supervisors

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices
- Ability to lift and transfer clients safely, using proper body mechanics
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with varying needs
- Ability to work independently and follow directions from supervisors
- Familiarity with behavior management systems is a plus
- Reliable transportation

Salary: $18.73 - $22.55 per hour

• Happy Valley, OR 97086: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
