Job description

 Cardiovascular Technologist
The Cardiovascular Technologist provides patient care and procedural provider support during complex invasive cardiovascular procedures. The Cardiovascular Technologist participates in the gathering of physiologic data utilizing a varied array of diagnostic and interventional equipment that requires advanced technical skills and knowledge in the cardiac, electrophysiology, nephrology, and vascular laboratories.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program or equivalent experience or
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Radiologic Technology Program and registered by The American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
  • Up to one (1) year cardiovascular, electrophysiology, vascular, or interventional lab experience.
  • BLS current or completed within three (3) months of hire date.
  • ACLS completed within one (1) year of hire date.
  • Advanced arrhythmia and hemodynamic skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Clean, sterile, and aseptic technique.
  • Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
Preferred or Specialized Qualifications
  • Extensive cardiovascular, electrophysiology, vascular, or interventional lab experience
  • Advanced certification in cardiac, electrophysiology or vascular.
  • Epic, Sensis, Axiom, Syngo, CPACS
  • Or other cardiovascular Lab hemodynamic or x-ray systems
  • Peripheral vascular anatomy and physiology
  • Complex endovascular devices and procedures.
