Form of work I have a client in San Francisco, CA seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery PA for locum coverage starting in June 2024. Please see a few details below:
• Contract Length: 6 months
• Schedule: 6:00 or 6:30am - 6:00pm, (3) 12-hour shifts/week, usually 3 weekend and 3 night shifts/month
• Setting: Hospital
• Cases: Rounds including heart failure/transplant, ICU, and mechanical circulatory support, evaluate and update patients' information through providing prescriptions, diagnostic tests, etc.
• EMR: EPIC
• Travel: Travel and malpractice covered
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes
• License Required: CA
• Certifications Required: DEA, AHA, ACLS, and BLS
• Minimum Experience Required: OR, CT surg, ICU, and endoscopic vein harvest experience. 1 year of Cardiothoracic Surgery, vascular surgery, cardiology, or critical care ICU
• Credentialing Timeframe: 45-90 days
