Responsible for coordinating the clinical management of cardiothoracic patients and families with specific healthcare needs through collaboration with other members of the health care team, navigates patients through the continuum of care ensuring that utilization of services occurs efficiently, collaborate to monitor and meet service line financial metrics, and assists with implementation of associated cardiothoracic programs
Responsible for planning and coordinating cardiothoracic quality improvement initiatives by tracking and trending quality data within service line. Communicate and coordinate with physicians, hospital and clinic service line leaders to improve the cardiothoracic program.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing.
Minimum Work Experience
Recent acute care hospital experience (within two years).
Required Licenses/Certifications
Current Texas Registered Nurse License
Basic Life Support
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Maintain professional appearance at all times.
Ability to handle confidential information.
