Job Duties

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) seeks a motivated and experienced individual to serve as a Cardinal Transactions Specialist for its Human Resource (HR) and General Accounting divisions. This position will support each division by performing data entry transactions, reconciliations, running reports, and office support functions.
Additional responsibilities include:
Enters and updates HR and Finance transactions related to benefits, leave, new hires and separations, personnel, payroll and funding changes.
Works with HR staff, Finance staff and Department of Accounts to resolve discrepancies.
Run Financial and HR reports and process mass uploads as needed.
Key financial transactions for the Opioid Abatement Authority.
Verify and reconcile timesheets for part-time staff biweekly.
Perform monthly financial reconciliations.
Maintain Opioid Abatement Authority financial logs.
Provide overall office support to both Human Resources and Fiscal Services.

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications:
Administrative/office experience
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products.
Experience in data entry, to include collecting and disseminating data.
Solid organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to write, speak, and interact clearly and professionally.
Exceptional customer service skills, via phone and in person, and with internal and external partners.

Additional Considerations

Knowledge of Human Resources and/or financial practices.
Knowledge of state operations.
Experience in Cardinal.
