Position Overview:
- Performs ultrasound examinations of the heart to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation.
- Records and maintains test data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Works under general supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Qualifications:
Registry in Ultrasound - ARDMS or ARRT preferred
current American Heart Association BLS required
Prior experience in Cardiac Ultrasound (ECHO) preferred
