Cardiac Sonographer

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of health care experience.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound.
License, Certification, Registration: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certificate within 24 months of hire OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certificate within 24 months of hire.
Basic Life Support: Required at the time of hire.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Pediatric and echocardiography experience.
Position Overview:
As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic Ultrasound evaluations of patients with minimum supervision, contributing to our Cardiology team in an outpatient cardiac care setting. Your responsibilities will include obtaining ultrasonic signals from the heart and great arteries, capturing two-dimensional images and/or Doppler ultrasonic signals. You will also be involved in scheduling, paperwork, computer work, and maintaining daily patient records/logs in our computerized system.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to assist cardiologists in various procedures, including transesophageal echocardiograms (TEES). Flexibility is key, as you will be willing to accept other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
