Pay Rate: Up to $65/hr
Work Schedule: 40 hrs/week, Monday - Friday
Shift: 7am - 5:30pm
COVID VACCINE REQUIRED
REQUIREMENTS:
- Neonatal experience preferred
- 3 years' experience preferred.
- Must be able to function independently.
- Must have experience with NICU and PEDS and ability to get adequate images for this patient population
- ARDMS certification or CCI
- RCS certification required
- BLS required
- On Call required
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Must be able to recognize cardiac and vascular anatomy and physiology
- Performs echo-Doppler studies
- Calls for service and describes the problem on the system
- Under direct supervision of the Cardiology Manager, the Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for accurately performing echocardiograms on all patients including infants, adolescents and adults
- Scheduling patients for cardiac ultrasonic diagnostic procedures
- Performs and analyzes diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations on adults and adolescents
- Performs clinical and approved research Transthoracic Echocardiography examinations on adult, adolescent, and critically ill patients either at the
- Responsible for obtaining pertinent diagnostic laboratory test results for physicians and to optimize the exam
- Will keep vans clean and be courteous to other drivers
- Attend conventions and symposiums on a national, local level
