- BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Performs efficient, high quality diagnostic imaging procedures in the field of pediatric echocardiography.
- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Education
- Associates Required
- Successful completion of Ultrasound or Cardiovascular Technology Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAAHEP) or the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) which includes verified didactic and supervised clinical experience in Echocardiography.
- Minimum Work Experience
- 2 years pediatric echo experience required
- Required Licenses/Certifications for position
- BLS required, PALS recommended.
- Registered or registry eligible for the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Strong core knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of pediatric echocardiography.
- Ability to assess, image, and present pediatric echocardiograms in a professional, efficient and highly diagnostic manner.
- Advanced proficiency in fetal echocardiography recommended.
- Minimum Education
- SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be available to work full-time, 72 hours per two week pay period, day shift.
- Must be available to work on call/ call back with 30 minute response time.

- Medium lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 20-50 lbs occasionally, 10-20 lbs frequently and 10 lbs constantly to move objects. Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure to lifting or moving of up to 100 lbs. Frequent bending, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching and standing are required. Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
