Expected pay for this position is $24.61 - $28.96/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Cardiac Rehabilitation Technician provides and directs medically prescribed exercise for Cardiac Rehabilitation Phase Il & Ill patients based on CMS, ACSM, AACVPR, ACE & AHA guidelines. Monitors clinical status and modifies exercises/activities based on assessment Provides education regarding cardiac/pulmonary and health risk factors and lifestyle modifications to patients/caregivers based on exercise physiology concepts, disease processes and adult learning principles. Supervises the Cardiac Rehabilitation program and staff.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelors in Respiratory Therapist licensure, Bachelor of Nursing Degree, LPN Degree or Degree in Exercise Physiology
Other Licenses/Certifications:
- BLS for Health Care Provider Certification through the American Heart Association
Other skills/knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Rehab setting
Licensure/Certifications:
- American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Provider) ACLS certification
