Responsibilities
- Leads a designated nursing area (part of a unit, entire unit, or entire facility)
- Oversees quality of patient care to assure delivery of individualized nursing care
- Oversees patient care delivery to maximize patient/family satisfaction and minimize risk of injury or negative outcomes to patients or employees while serving as a resource for staff
- Directs staff during emergency situations
- Coordinates orientation and/or training for team
- Responsible for driving patient care across the continuum through leadership of disciplinary care rounds and care management
Qualifications
- Current licensure as Registered Nurse in this state
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or (pursuit of BSN or higher degree) from an accredited nursing program
- Internal employees in this role may be grandfathered in per approval of VP, PCS for the facility.
- Minimum of four (4) years clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting or at least three (3) years demonstrated leadership as a charge RN or PCC.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Additional certification or licensure may be required for some specialty areas
Pay Range
$35.12 - $50.92 /hour
