Our Detailers play a vital role at our full service locations and we're seriously proud to have them working for us! They are responsible for cleaning the inside and outside of all full service customer vehicles in a quick and efficient manner through the use of various detail tools. Washman does "Express Details" which includes shampooing seats and carpets, super interior (deep cleaning of front area; console, doors, dash, etc.), exterior hand wax, and odor deodorizing. Our detailers can spend 30 minutes to 2 hours on any 1 vehicle.
All of our positions require customer service. We expect our employees to interact with customers with a smile and provide quality customer service at all times.
To be successful in this position, you must be able to:
- Positively and energetically engage and communicate with customers
- Quickly understand, retain, and follow directions and Washman procedures
- Continuously stand, move, and enjoy being outdoors for your entire shift
Position(s) We Are Currently Hiring For
- 1 Full Service Detailer (Friday - Tuesday 9AM to 5:30PM)
Requirements
Detailer Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Detailer Responsibilities
- Clean vehicles in a thorough manner.
- Shampoo carpets and seats
- Provide leather treatments
- Apply hand wax
- Vacuum vehicles
- Use detailing tools to clean dash, doors, console, seats, and carpets.
- Communicate with coworkers and customers.
- Provide a detailed breakdown of work completed on customer vehicles to customers.
Detailer Work Environment
- 75% standing on padded concrete
- 25% crouching, kneeling, bending in customer vehicles
- 40% walking on even surfaces
- 95% exposed to varying weather conditions
- 95% exposed to high level of noise
