Summary
We are recruiting for a Capital Projects Analyst to support the development and facilitation of the capital plan for PAB through the coordination of capital planning, execution and regular analysis.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare annual capital budget and maintain 5-year capital plan. (Also, quarterly capital reforecasts and review of unbudgeted capital requests)
- Prepare regular capital reports and reviews to update project managers. (Expanded to include Priority Projects slide decks, Capital/Lease Op Segments for Management as well)
- Continue to develop capital management standards for project managers
- Training facility managers and project managers in project management and capital budgeting
- Develop and implement centralized capital reporting tool for project management.
- Serve as primary communication channel between FP&A and Project Managers
- Collaborate with FP&A to ensure capital plans are in sync with business units
- Develop analysis and improved processes focused on more efficient project lifecycle execution
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Provide Nintex administration and user support
- Complete quarterly audits of projects >$1M and provide reporting/feedback to PM and Management to improve overall project performance and outcomes
- Schedule and participate in quarterly commercial reviews to ensure project priority and business direction are aligned. Utilize this information in the formation of quarterly reforecasts and budgeting.
- Provide direct support for large/complex projects as needed to ensure timely and accurate management of both financial and operational tasks.
Education and Experience Requirements
Education: BS Degree (Business, Management, Engineering or Industrial Technology)
Experience: 3-5 years:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, macros, mapping, conditional formatting, mail merging, statistical analysts, etc.)
- Strong communication, math, organizational and analytical skills
- Project Management
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Position is active. On the floor activities such as troubleshooting and re-design of existing systems are routine. May need to move equipment occasionally. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. Work activity is where the processing equipment is located. Work environment includes, but is not limited to, a normal office environment and construction site as well as climate extremes found in a poultry processing operation, feed mill, hatchery and a waste water treatment facility. Position requires an associate to have the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. Must be able to work in confined and or permit required confined spaces and heights. Must be able to work on and or around operating equipment.
