Capital Markets Analyst

We are seeking a Capital Markets Analyst to join the Capital Markets team! In this role, you will learn how bonds work and receive on-going training to support various Capital Markets transaction activities related to mortgage backed securities, bond issuances, and cash management. In this role, you will:

• Assist in the financial operations and data gathering process
• Interact with outside parties such as investment banks, trustees, commercial banks, rating agencies, and legal counsel
• Assist in the analysis and production of third party recording
• Maintain spreadsheets/databases used to provide compliance data for internal and external reporting
• Extract data from loan servicing, accounting, and other internal systems to assist in what-if, snapshot, and trend analysis
• Participate in the department’s analytics projects and assist in the implementation, documentation, and monitoring of the changes

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related major from an accredited college or university
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Highly organized and capable of handling multiple assignments with deadlines at a time
• Desire to learn
• Ability to work in a small-team environment
• Strong spreadsheet skills preferred
• Experience working with bonds or mortgages is a plus
